Monday, July 10, 2023 - The Sewing Sisters at Harvestime Church are excited to announce their 14th annual "Quilts of Past & Present Quilt Show" has been scheduled for Friday, July 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, July 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event takes place at the church's family center, which is located at 451558 E. 0980 Road in Vian.
Admission to the quilt show is $5.00 per person, and everyone is welcome to attend.
During the event, you will have the opportunity to admire beautiful quilts made by local quilters. In addition to the quilt display, there will be vendors offering quilting-related items, live demonstrations, and door prizes each day.
The quilt show will be held in the Activity Building of the church. However, you’ll want to make sure you visit the Tea Room, where a delicious lunch and desserts will be served.
If you are a quilter yourself and would like to showcase your quilts at the event, the Sewing Sisters would love to have you participate. You can obtain an entry form by emailing the organization at blackgumquiltshow@yahoo.com. Entry forms can also be found at local quilt shops.
