Tuesday, January 23, 2024 - Become a CASA volunteer and make a difference for an abused or neglected child in your community.
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are volunteers trained by CASA for Children and matched with a child or sibling group in foster care. Volunteers spend quality time with the youth and learn about every aspect of their case. This allows the CASA to effectively advocate for them in court, school, medical settings, and more to ensure all of their personalized needs are being met. A CASA volunteer makes sure a child’s voice is heard.
Many children in our community are currently waiting for a CASA volunteer of their own. With just 8-10 hours a month, you can help a child thrive and put them on a path toward a successful future. To learn more about the role of a CASA join the agency at one of their upcoming information sessions:
