Tuesday, May 23, 2023 - The Sequoyah County Assessor's Office is in the process of completing visual property inspections within the county.
Visual inspection field deputies are currently working to assess properties in the Vian and Gore areas. Field deputies are driving a white GMC Canyon with visible signage displayed.
Per state statute, the Sequoyah County Assessor's Office is required to visit each property in the county every four years.
Visual property inspections in these locations will continue for the remainder of the year.
Officials ask that if you see a field deputy on or near your property, please be kind; they are only doing their job.
