Easter Events are Springing Up Across Sequoyah County

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 — Get your baskets ready and hop into the Easter spirit as communities across Sequoyah County prepare to host a variety of family-friendly egg hunts and seasonal celebrations. From bounce houses and food trucks to train rides and bunny photo ops, there’s something for everyone to enjoy during this year’s Easter festivities.
A lineup of events has been announced, offering numerous opportunities for children of all ages to participate in Easter fun throughout April.
The celebration kicks off early on Saturday, March 12, with the Marble City Fire Department’s Easter Egg Hunt at the Marble City Football Field beginning at 2:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend this annual Marble City tradition.
Next up is the Liberty Fire Department’s Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12, at 11:00 a.m. in Liberty, Oklahoma. The hunt will be divided into age groups—0–3, 4–6, and 7–12, with prizes awarded and candy bags for every participant.
Marval Resort in Gore will be hosting two weekends of Easter-themed activities, April 11–13 and April 18–20. Highlights include all-ages egg hunts, a jelly bean guessing contest, train rides with the Easter Bunny, outdoor movie nights, and photo opportunities with the Bunny himself.
A trio of community events will take place on Saturday, April 19.
First, the Muldrow Lions Club is set to host its Easter Egg Hunt at Muldrow City Park at 11:00 a.m., featuring a visit from the Easter Bunny, so don’t forget your cameras!
Next is Woodland Hills Church with its 2nd Annual Community Easter Eggstravaganza at Roland City Park, also beginning at 11:00 a.m. Attendees can look forward to bounce houses, food trucks, multiple egg hunts, and prize giveaways.
Lastly, the Town of Gore’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt is set for Ray Fine Park (305 Ray Fine Dr., Gore), beginning at 11:00 a.m. The event promises a traditional, family-centered celebration in the heart of Gore.
Rounding out the Easter weekend is the Vian Assembly of God Easter Celebration on Sunday, April 20. The day begins with worship at 10:45 a.m. at 205 E. Schley St. in Vian, followed by a children’s egg hunt and a fellowship meal.
With so many events to choose from, Sequoyah County families have plenty of opportunities to make lasting 2025 Easter memories.
