Wednesday, October 25, 2023 - The Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library will be hosting a free four-week Air Fryer class for Seniors starting this Thursday, October 26 at 3 p.m. The class takes place once a week and focuses on a different aspect of meal preparation in each session.
The purpose of the event is to help attendees learn how to use an air fryer and provide various recipes to enhance the nutritional value of their meals.
OSU Extension Office Educator in Sequoyah County, Janis Risley kicks off the cooking series for week one and will be covering nutrition and how to use an air fryer.
Library staff, Susan Jacobs, will be demonstrating air fryer recipes during weeks two through four.
These classes are provided to the community by a Health Literacy Grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries with federal funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
