George Gaddy
Monday, February 12, 2024 - An arrest warrant was issued Feb. 5 for a 52-year-old Roland man accused of distributing a controlled dangerous substance, an affidavit states.
If convicted, George Wesley Gaddy could face up to seven years in prison and/or a fine of up to $100,000.
On Jan. 25, a confidential informant agreed to make a controlled purchase of drugs from a man he knew as George. The informant gave the officer directions to the man’s residence in Roland.
After making sure there were no narcotics or money on the CI, police gave the person $100 in $20 bills and drove him to Gaddy’s residence.
The informant went inside and soon returned with about 4 grams of a white crystalline substance.
