Wednesday, March 1, 2023 - A career fair will be held on May 4 at the Sallisaw Indian Capitol Technology Center (ICTC). The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the ICTC multi-purpose building in Sallisaw.
ICTC is dedicated to preparing students for the workplace through the development of technical training in twenty-first century job readiness skills. The career fair focuses on connecting employers with potential employees in several areas of expertise.
A wide range of career majors can be obtained locally through ICTC. Career majors include LPN, cosmetology, long-term care/home health care assistant, HVAC technician, construction trades, surgical technologist, welder/fitter, and automobile service technician.
There will be no fee for those setting up a booth, and tables and chairs will be provided. All employers are welcome to bring informational pamphlets, applications, and decorations for their booth. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided.
