Local McDonald’s restaurants welcome educators back to school with a special treat

Tuesday, September 6, 2022 - As the new school year begins and educators are getting back into classrooms across the region, participating local McDonald’s restaurants are showing support by offering a welcome back treat to all school employees.

On Wednesday, September 7, all school employees - teachers, support staff, and administration, who present proper ID may visit any participating McDonald’s restaurant in Green Country between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for a McCafé® Bakery item of choice and a small McCafé® hot or iced drip iced coffee.

“Educators have such a powerful impact in our communities and with our children. This is our way to say thanks for everything they do,” said local McDonald’s Owner/Operators John and David Hadley. “It is important to us that McDonald’s supports our educators and staff and remain a good neighbor, good friend, and community partner.”

The offer is available as Dine In, Take Out, or at the Drive Thru at participating local restaurants for all school district employees who show proper ID. It is not available with McDelivery or Mobile Order and Pay.

What a thoughtful gesture by McDonald's to welcome educators back to school! It’s so important to show appreciation, and this special treat is a great way to start the school year on a positive note. Speaking of creating memorable experiences, small details matter in every business, including restaurants. For example, menu covers not only protect the menu but also create a polished and professional look for your establishment. It’s these small touches that can really enhance the customer experience, just like how a thoughtful gesture can make a big difference in the lives of educators.
