Sunday, October 22, 2023 - An unidentified 32-year-old man is dead following a fatal shooting Sunday afternoon.
Sequoyah County deputies were called to a location on Wildhorse Mountain Road south Sallisaw at approximately 3 p.m.
Upon arriving on the scene, deputies discovered the deceased male and were able to arrest the suspected shooter.
Both parties are Native American and FBI investigators have been contacted.
