Monday, January 16, 2023 - Sequoyah County Election Board Secretary Cindy Osborn announced today that the Gore SD I-6 has opted to close Precinct 203 -McKey Baptist Church and Precinct 208-Blackgum Community Center in Sequoyah County for the Board of Education Primary.
Closing the polling place would reduce the overall cost of the election for the district.
Any registered voter in precinct 203 or 208 will be receiving a letter from the election board, if you believe you reside in the Gore School District I-6 we urged you to contact the county election board office immediately.
The Sequoyah County Election Board is located at 110 Creek Ave and is open from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. Election Board officials can be reached at 918-775-2614 or by email at Sequoyahcounty@elections.ok.gov
