Roland Gearing Up for Iron Mountain Festival

Monday, May 24, 2021 - The Roland Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for the town's annual Iron Mountain Festival & Freedom Celebration, set for Saturday, July 3.

The day's events will begin at 4 p.m. with a doubles cornhole tournament hosted by the chamber and the Black Diamond Baggers in the parking lot of the Roland Fire Department. Tournament entry fee is $40 per two-person team. There will be an 80 percent payout.

The festival will also feature vendors selling foods, arts and crafts, as well as a kids' zone with inflatables, an obstacle course and more. There will even be kayak demonstrations by River Town Outfitters and live music by Whiskey Revolver.

The festival will end with what organizers call, "The largest fireworks show in Eastern Oklahoma!"

If you are a vendor looking to get signed up, visit https://forms.gle/Dk3bhKom5iH5LGfr9 and fill out the form. The Roland Chamber of Commerce will let you know when you have been accepted as a vendor and will allow you to pay the vendor fee, which is $40 for a booth with electricity and $30 for a booth without hook-ups. Registration is now through June 12 for a discounted booth fee.
