Roland's Iron Mountain Festival and Freedom Celebration set for July 1

Monday, June 19, 2023- The Roland Area Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Roland have partnered to host the 2023 Iron Mountain Festival and Freedom Celebration on Saturday, July 1.

The celebration is set to take place at Roland City Park, with activities kicking off at 4 p.m.

The event will feature a variety of attractions, including games and inflatables for the kids, a cornhole tournament, vendor booths, and live musical performances by local artists.

Food vendors will be available, offering a diverse selection of tasty treats and festival fare.

Karen's Concession will be serving roasted corn and deep-fried goodies; Monica's Homestyle Burritos will be a popular choice; and Josie Cheater will be offering Indian Tacos. The Roland FFA Chapter will be back with their famous BBQ sandwiches, and Rockin' Rackley's Catering and BBQ will provide additional barbecue options. This year, Seven Oaks Meat Processing and Fresh Start Seafood & Catering will be joining the festival for the first time, bringing even more delicious options.

In addition to food and games, there will be crafts, giveaways, and raffles throughout the event.

Once the sun goes down, make sure to stick around because the Town of Roland will present a spectacular fireworks show. The town's fireworks display never disappoints and is one you won't want to miss out on.
