Roland's Iron Mountain Festival Set for July 3

Wednesday, June 16, 2021 - The Roland Area Chamber of Commerce and the Black Diamond Baggers will host the annual Iron Mountain Festival & Freedom Celebration from 5-10 p.m. Saturday, July 3, at Roland City Park.

The festival will feature a cornhole tournament, arts and crafts, food trucks, vendors, lots of fun for the kids and live music by Whiskey Revolver. There will also be giveaways, including a 12-foot kayak from River Town Outfitters!

Applications are now being accepted for booths and vendors. Vendors will set up from 2-4 p.m. Pre-registration is required for $30 per booth, or $40 with electricity. For an application, email RACC74954@gmail.com.

The cornhole tournament will be held in the parking lot of the Roland Fire Department. Sign-up for the tourney will begin at 3 p.m. and doubles players are asked to bring their own partners. The cost to play is $40 per team with 80 percent payout and prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place.

The evening will be capped off with a freedom celebration and what has been called “the biggest fireworks show in Eastern Oklahoma,” so bring your lawn chairs and come and join in the fun!
