Tuesday, February 7, 2023 - The Sallisaw FFA Chapter will be hosting their very first Local Livestock Show on Saturday, February 11. The show will begin at 2 p.m. and take place at the Sequoyah County Fairgrounds.
The livestock show will feature local Sallisaw 4-H and FFA showmen and their projects, along with breed classes and a showmanship class for each species.
The group will also be auctioning off four pies, hosting a silent auction, and running a concession stand during the event.
The entry fee for FFA students is a 12-pack of pop and chips, and the fee for 4-H students is a 12-pack of pop and a package of hot dog buns.
All entry fee items are due to be turned in by Thursday, February 9.
The Sallisaw FFA Chapter would like to invite the community out to support these students and all of their hard work.
The Sequoyah County Fairgrounds are located at 464101 E. 1070 Rd. in Sallisaw.
