Webbers Falls Day set for June 10

Wednesday, May 24, 2023 - "Webbers Falls Day," a community-wide family fun day, is set to take place on June 10 at River Park, weather permitting. The day promises a range of exciting activities and games for people of all ages, with prizes and awards up for grabs.

The Robert Ross Memorial Pancake Breakfast at Freedom Hall kicks off the day’s events at 6:30 a.m.

If you are someone who enjoys a bit of physical activity, then you'll want to head over to Webbers Falls High School at 8 a.m. for a 5k and fun run.

At 10:30 a.m., the fun kicks into high gear with children's activities and the Green County Tractor Club tractor pull getting underway.

Attendees can look forward to a live DJ, vendors of all types, Western actors, a dunk tank, and much more.

One particularly fun event for the kiddos is a turtle race. Children are invited to bring their pet turtles and compete to see whose turtle makes it to the finish line first.

In addition, there will be a range of tasty treats available to satisfy your appetite. Fresh pork rinds and popcorn will be offered, along with refreshing root beer floats.

The Webbers Falls Volunteer Fire Department will be running concessions, serving up their famous pulled pork, which is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

The town of Webbers Falls, the Webbers Falls Chamber of Commerce, and area businesses are sponsoring the event to mark the town’s 195 years of existence.

So grab a lawn chair, don’t forget your turtle, and head out to the 2023 "Webbers Falls Day" event.

For more information regarding this event, go to the Webbers Falls Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
